Chunky Monkey Products Diaper Review

Being a small Family business, we like to support other family businesses and help them out when we can.  Chunky Monkey Products is a WAHM business run by K a mother of 4 creative and cute kids!

After a bad customer review, I decided to try out one of K's diapers from her store Chunky Monkey Products.  (Small business can only do well with great reviews and customer service, so I wanted to try them out and see really what was up.  One really displeased customer can really hurt a small business).  I can say that I had been wanting to try one of her diapers for a while because, well...they are just so CUTE!  Anyway, this was an older style diaper that got the negative review so I have been using it for a few months now.  The rise on her diapers is actually a bit longer than most every other pocket diaper that I have.  You can't really see it in this picture but it has 5 rise snaps!  It came with a prefold insert but Bubby is a super soaker and those just don't work for us.

So that took me some getting used to (and a few leaks from the wrong fit!).  Bubby has been on either completely unsnapped or just 1 rise snap down on all his other OS pocket diapers, so I just assumed it would be the same for the past several months.  Nope, he needed to be 3 snaps down, in just the last week he is now between the1st and 2nd rise snap settings depending on the stuffing.

We still had some leak issues, but figured out that if we treat the diaper more like an AI2 then it didn't leak (per K's suggestion as that is how her Miss Clara has to wear pockets)!  So now I just put my insert either my babykicks hemp or microfiber with a liner/sleeve covering it so it doesn't dry out Bubby's bottom.
I put a red insert in the sleeve so you could actually see how it is laid in there.

Here is Bubby 9 months old in his CMP diaper.

Our business: We need a bigger shop!

We have finally gotten some larger furniture jobs again, but with that comes the realization that we don't have the space to store the pieces!  We have some furniture in the extra spaces in the house, garage, and shop, but that is all finished work that is drying or that needs to finish curing.  What do we do with the pieces that we are trying to glue up and get ready to be made into the new project?  Well, we definitely don't have the space in the shop.  We have recently sold and gotten a new bandsaw so even the space behind the planer (in the picture below) is taken up.

So how do we manage to do large furniture glue ups and work? ....

We use the yard of course :)

With a little bit of help we get it all done.  Bubby loves to try and lift the boards to help daddy!
